219/365 – Wild Flowers

DAY 219

Just random flowers along the street walk.

Not so much lately. Work work work. Be back in a while though.

217/365 – The Sun is Up!

DAY 217

This is the 3rd day that I’m awake in the night and sleepy in the morning. I lay down in bed past 3 o’clock just after eating our Zahoor and found myself still awake past 7 o’clock in the morning! And when I looked over our bedroom window, the sun is already up. Sigh… oh dear Mr. Sleep, I miss you badly. Please come and visit me one time *sniff*

202/365 – Souq Waqif

DAY 202-1

A close friend celebrated his 25th birthday in an Italian Restaurant located at one of the oldest places in Doha, Souq Waqif. Click on the image below to give you some incites about the place.

Here’s another black and white shot using my iPhone. I forgot to bring my camera unfortunately so all the shots taken that night was only through our camera phones.

DAY 202-2

And here I am taking a pose just outside the restaurant. We had fun eating Italian foods. I’ll be inviting Hubby to dine in again. It’s a little bit costly but the taste of an Italian food is perfect.

DAY 202-3

Happy birthday again to our dear friend Mr. M. We all wish him good health as always and success on his endeavors.

The Heat is On

IMG_1134

The heat is on! This photo was taken during our journey from Jeddah going to Mecca last month. And imagine this in the afternoon here in Qatar. We can feel the heat of the sun and heat + humidity. Dust every where and for that, baby J’s suffering with cough and cold at the same time. Hubby’s nostrils are clogged as well. For me, my eyes are itchy because of the wind.

Last night, poor girl wasn’t able to sleep properly because she was coughing most of the times. I had to get up every 30 minutes, ending up sleepless and had to work this morning. Motherhood. No regrets. Everything for the her. I think she’s teething as well. She kept on playing with her gums + and since she has cold, she now knows how to squeeze her nose, ha-ha!

There were rumors that the weather will get worst by next month. God bless the Middle East! Stay safe everyone.

186/365 – Al Wakra Sea Line

Yesterday afternoon, Hubby and I got bored in the house so we decided to explore another city of Qatar which is at Al Wakra. Hubby said that there’s a beach with a not-too-much rocky shore. I had plans in the afternoon so we had to move our schedule. Good thing our Dentist have a flexible time so we were able to move our appointment from 6pm to 7:30pm.

Tagging along a friend with us, we enjoyed the summer heat yesterday welcoming the afternoon sun and a not-too-much hot weather of 42°C (yeah! This is colder compare to the other day which was 55°C!)

Here are some photos to share with you:

You’ll see farther left an Oil Plant. As you may know, Qatar is one of the richest oil producing country in the middle east – aside from Saudi Arabia which is the first.

I risk to put down my camera and tried to shoot and here’s the result. I felt like this one is so real. Yikes!

DAY 186

DAY 186/365 – THE 365 DAYS PROJECT

Hubby was asking me to jump over the other side of the rock. But I couldn’t! I told him my steps are so small that I will not be able to leap on the other side. I might fall down! Wahaaaaa! What a coward person I am.

And here I am with my 1 year and 8mos old baby Julia. Oh dear… she’s growing up really fast. Time flies so fast really. We’re planning to have her bangs cut by next week. I’m having a hard time doing putting up her hair since she moves a lot, ugh! We love you Mama!

Running Updates

DAY 153 DAY 153 – THE 365 DAYS PROJECT

Hi everyone! Today is Wednesday. It was a fulfilling day. After work, we finalized our schedule for next week. I’ll be on leave for a week to visit my in-laws. We picked up a package as well from Q-Post today and we visited a friend too. Got the chance to take a shot of Villaggio’s finest work of art.

Got to go for now, need to run some errands again.
