My IG History

image.png

I signed up with Statigr.am today and they sent me cool statistics about my Instagr.am account. I couldn’t believe that it’s been a year since my first post.

And yes, I still remember that Shey and I are the only users over my IG app. I told her to download this app since that time we were so interested with Hisptamatic. Do you still remember those days sis? We said that Instagram is free, so might as well use these filters. But it was too late for me, because a week before knowing Instagram, I’ve already purchased Hipstamatic. No regrets though.

Julie and Julia are the reasons why I have these enormous likes. It’s nice to see that people adore these kids. I wonder who their mom is? OH, it’s ME! Hahaha! Pathetic. Anyway, go ahead and sign up with Statigram and check your stats.

Downloading Problems

Our next door neighbor has been calling for me to fix their downloading problem over the internet. This is the 3rd time that MIL has requested for me to check over it. Our neighbor’s daughter was about to download video from youtube, when her laptop suddenly stopped responding. Well, thank God for having a husband who is a geek with computers. After doing a little troubleshooting with her laptop, I was able to fix the problem. But of course, that doesn’t end there. I know in the next few days, they’ll be ringing the bell again for me. There’s actually no issue for it, it’s just that their laptop language is set in Arabic, which is giving me a hard time to navigate with the menus. Sigh. Why can’t they just switch to the common language instead right? But anyway, it’s not their fault. Blame it on the school over here, because they don’t introduce English as one of the means of communication. Anyway, enough of the rant.

e Pickpocketing

Do you know that your credit card now be easily be stolen by someone without even knowing? That’s if you really didn’t leave it behind somewhere. Last month, one of our online friends was charged with full blown amount over her credit card account without her consent. The thief was able to get a copy her credit card details and made a replica of it. They suspected that the e pickpocketing was done when they paid via cc over a restaurant after dining in. They’ve already solved the issue with her bank, but of course the perpetrators are still on the loose. So dear friends, be aware and responsible with using your credit cards in public. Don’t let them charge you over without you actually seeing them swiping the card on their machines.

Wonderful 3 Years

LO65-3yrs.png

Our baby Julia has turned 3 years old 5 days ago. I made a layout for her placing a photos over the past 2 years of her birthdays. Seeing her growing up so beautifully makes my heart melt. Next year, we will have a preschooler. My baby will start her journey one step at a time to fulfill her dreams in the future. And thinking about her growing up as an adult scares me. It makes me think of my capabilities as a mother. Will I be a good guidance for her? Will I endure her seeing her facing her own fears? Ya Allah Ya Rab, may God Allah guide me and my husband for this. If others can, why can’t I?

LO65 - 3yrs

Happy birthday dearest.
I’m so blessed to have you in my life. Although sometimes I still can’t believe that you’re mine. You don’t look a lot like me ;) Your face is like a copy/paste of your father (no doubt about that). But I know you’re mine, because your heart calls for me as your “MAMA”. Your 3rd birthday was not that fancy like the previous 2 years. In time you’ll understand why. You know your ABC’s perfectly. You can count 1-10 in 3 languages: English, Arabic and Spanish (a big thanks to Dora). And you know the magic words: Thank you and Please. For that, you make us so proud.
May Allah guide you and save you always for us.
I love you so so so so so much Julia.

There’s a law firm accepting cases like these since they believe that these types of cases are special, and it needs special attention. Actos is a medication that treats Diabetes. Some believe that taking it will increase the risk of bladder cancer as well. If you have taken this drug and feels differently after taking it, you might want to consult a medical expert on it. We Need Curtains and Draperies

These are the things that we need for our home. I’m thinking of getting curtains from Brylane Home. Their designs are wonderfully made. The colors that I’ve chosen matches our wall designs and particularly the furnishings. Their prices are reasonable as well. Choose between $0-$39.99. From all types of colors from Beige to Yellow. Right now they have a 20% off with the highest priced item of your choice + free express shipping upgrade. Great deal, right? Aside from those deals, what I love about them is that they have all types of things that you need for your home sweet home. Beddings, bath, kitchen appliances, storage, furniture & décor, window and dinnerware sets. It’s like a one stop shop over the net. What else do you need to make everything complete for your humble abode?

Going on with my curtain wish list. We have 3 verandas. And I’m eyeing on either of these two photos below for the kitchen door.

And here are my choices for the for the salon.

Having draperies in the home makes the surroundings cozy. It’s like having a feeling of being at peace. There’s no place like home.

I’m A Gleek! (Yeah I know I’m late…)

Starting today, I’m officially a fan of Glee. I can’t stop watching each episodes, and I admit that I’m late for it – but I guess, it’s better late than never right?

Glee - Season 1

A friend once told me that watching Glee will bring the music back into my life. And I think she’s right. I love singing. When I was still in high school, I was a part of the Glee club as well. I still remember the first song we sang on the stage, “You’ll Never Walk Alone”. But I didn’t enjoy much about it, so I auditioned for the Dance club and I got in. “Mmmbop” was our first song that hits the stage. We’re always invited to have a number in all the school events. Not to forget mentioning about the boys. Puppy love, hahaha! :D I found myself happy with the Dance club instead. To love singing for me doesn’t necessarily means being in the Glee.

Going back to reality. I’ve never been so obsessed with a TV series. The last time I did was way back 90’s. “Friends” are one of it of course (who wouldn’t love them?). Now I’m excited to watch and see what will be the ending for these Glee casts. If you haven’t seen any of it’s episode, well dear – WATCH it!
