Kinsena’t Katapusan

It means 15th and last day of the month. Meaning, salary day. If you’re an employee in the Philippines, your company might be giving you your pay cheques already. Or for some, their salaries are transfered in their bank account. But if you’re a SAHM like me, everyday is a pay day. Not equivalent to money but equal to happiness seeing your growing kids and loved by a dear partner.

I was talking to a friend over Viber last night. We were talking about work and it’s worth. Yes, it can give you the pleasure of earning something. For what? So that you can buy the things you want in life and support the people you love. But then we realized that some things can’t be measured by money. I may not be earning much right now like any employees, but at least I’m blessed to be with my family. My husband, my 2 adorable kids – it’s enough to be called rich.

Just ranting. TGIF everyone.

Officially Lebanese

We left Damascus at exactly 6:15am. I wasn’t able to check how long it took us to reach the borders of Lebanon, but as far as I know, it’s only an hour to reach there and another hour to reach to city of Beirut.

The itinerary was to proceed with the processing of Julie’s passport. We went firs to the city Mayor to have some papers authenticated. Then to the National Statistics Office to pass the documents needed. And lastly, to the Foreign Affairs to apply. Personal appearance was needed (as usual) so Hubby took Julie with him inside the building while I wait outside. The security was so strict that no one is allowed inside the building unless you’re there to process your passport. According to Hubby, when he passed the documents for Julie, women officers took Julie from him to carry on his behalf so that he can finish processing documents fast. They adored our cutie patootie Lily he said. Alhamdulillah, Masha’Allah.

We finished around 12:30pm. We ate late lunch at Burger King. Visited Hubby’s grandfather, then went back at the affairs at 3:30pm to pick up the passport. So here you go, our daughter is now officially a Lebanese citizen.

Julie's Passport

Due to time restriction, we weren’t able to go around the city of Beirut. I remember my first time in Beirut. It was year 2009. That time, we were processing Julia’s passport and applying for mine as well. Here are some shots of the city I took via my iPhone edited of course via Instagram.

Rainy Days Ahead

I’m always receiving notification from Artscow regarding promotions with coupon codes. I dream to have all my pictures printed with them but our internet is so slow even with uploading, so as much as I wanted to have them print out, I can’t for now. I’m hoping in the future I can do that in line with ordering a Photo book for my digiscrap layouts.

Rainy Days

Anyway, rainy seasons are here already. You can have your umbrellas customized as you like. Here’s a code for you to use if you want.

Don’t forget to sign up with Artscow as well and check out their services.

New Prescription Eyeglasses

Hubby needs a new pair of eyeglasses. The current one that he uses have to much scratches on the frame. It fell off the floor for several times already. And so I asked my friends as to what is the best glasses we can find right now. Most of my friends are using this Zenni Optical as their choice for getting a prescription eyeglasses. And since it get great coverage in the media and on the web, it’s much easier to get the best deals. I was reading for reviews about Zenni Optical and as to much surprise, it’s not that expensive at all.  As a matter of fact, their prices are not that expensive at all. Ranging from $6 to $46 per frame, a massive deal.

I love these frames below.

And for hubby, he needs a progressive type of lens like this one below.

What I love about Zenni opticals are the variations that you can choose from the prescription types that they have. Whether be it single vision, bifocal or progressive one (just the frame that hubby needs right now). What more can you ask for? I’ve read as well that they have a lot of satisfied customers because of their great value and affordable eyeglasses. And so, I’m in search for the best frame now and hopefully to avail one from them.

Twitter Pregnancies

Earlier this year, I found out that 3 of my Twitter friends are due the same month when I was still pregnant with Julie. Then came 2nd quarter of this year when 2 of them announces that they are on the way. Maileen for her 2nd baby, and Trinity for her 1st baby. And then yesterday, another one is blessed for the second time, my favorite digital scrapper Diane. We’re all so happy for her and we all pray for a safe pregnancy. There’s one more person we’re all waiting to be blessed, hopefully this year these lovely couple will be blessed soon. Always whispering a prayer for her. It’s ironic how we evolved in Twitter. Twitter babies, coming up. Hooray! :D

Eager to Loose Weight

A friend’s wedding a month away from now. Right now she’s trimming down and is very eager to loose weight. In fact, we have a common friend who advised her to take phenphedrine, it’s a secret to long term weight loss. I on the other hand is eager to gain weight. I’m currently breastfeeding our youngest one and I’m in pledge to continue it for a year. Well, I wish her good luck on their wedding day. And of course, to continue loosing weight.

I Love You Mommy!

…and I’ll always will for the rest of my life.

It’s my mother’s birthday next month. I’m thinking on what to gave her. Bag, shoes, new blouse probably, or simply love? It may sound mushy but it’s true. My mom has all the things she needs in life. It may not be material, but I believe that at her age right now, she had what she has always wanted, that’s for us (her children) to be contented with what we have with our own family and to be successful with all our decisions in life. I miss mom. I’m a person who can’t express myself verbally, but I know that she knows that she means so much to me. And I owe my life from her. Looking back when I still working back home, I could’ve gave my parents the best gift ever – that’s for them to have insurance. Both my parents are now senior citizen. Anyway, it’s still not late. I still can give them something to make them happy.

I <3 Instagram

…and for that, I created an LO 2 months ago. I wish I can print out all my layouts. My friend owns an HP Printer and she has all the stocks of hp printers ink cartridges. She prints her own designs as well. As a matter of fact, they recently held a baptismal for their cute daughter, and she printed out her invites using their printer. A very good way to save up and since it’s HP, the result is excellent.

LO41 - Instagram

Anyway, Instagram is one of my favorite iPhone app right now. Me and my friends IG all day. A picture means a thousand words as they say. Besides, it makes us all creative and I’m even exploring my love with i-Phonography. So for those of you who owns an apple device, download Instagram and let’s IG all day.

Health Issues

A friend of mine over the US heard a very delicate issues on Topamax which is an anti-convulsant to treat epileptic seizures in children and adults and is also a prescription to prevent migraine headaches. Well, this is a good information for me as well since I have migraine. There has been some cases already raised against Topamax because it resulted to a possible case of cleft lip or also known as clef palate – birth defects that will let a new born child to not speak in the normal way. She said that some mothers have already consulted some attorneys at O’Hanlon, McCollom & Demerath – because they have raised a Topamax lawsuit already. They understand the case that your children is into since they believe that this types of illness is a cause and side effect of Topamax.

Migraine Attack

Last night reminded me that being pregnant saved me from one of my weaknesses. I was free of migraine for the last 8 months. I was experiencing a slight headache, but a paracetamol like Panadol and Biogesic can take the pain away easily. But last night, my biggest fear came back.

I started to feel pain at my nape then running up to my forehead and down to my t-zone area. I thought it’s just signs of a possible cold since I’ve been sneezing as well for the last few days. But I was wrong. I wasn’t able to sleep last night because Lily had a hard time sleeping. So me and Hubby was awake the whole night. I guess that’s one of the reasons why I had a migraine yesterday.

I threw up for like 6x. I tried to shake it off by sleeping, but when I woke up, it got worst.

I tried eating, but it was no use. It went out again obviously :(

I tried eating watermelon – thinking that since it’s something cold it might give me a boost, but then again, I threw up.

As of this time, I feel much better now. 3 tabs of Extra Panadol, 1 Biogesic and 1 Zumigraine – yeah, got addicted to drugs last night. I was in a hurry to be okay because I was shy for Hubby to look over our two kids alone. Lily’s a little bit fussy and the big sister wants to be the center of attention ever since her little sister was born. Thank God Alhamdulillah for having a husband who has a long patience with kids. He was able to look over them while I was trembling with pain. Anyway, I do hope that the next migraine attack will not be soon. I’m not yet ready for it.

She’s 1 Month Old

And here’s my recent layout for our dearest Lily. She turned 1 month 3 days ago. Too bad we were not able to buy a cake for her :( Instead, we went out instead and celebrate a day in the mall while the big sister enjoys the ride. We then went to Quasion and just ate a hamburger and look over the beauty of Damascus. Next month is the Holy month of Ramadan. We’ll be fasting. I hope that we can prepare a cake for Lily by that time. Insha Allah God willing.

LO52 - 1 Month

MIL arrived from an almost 2 weeks of vacation with BIL the other day as well. The empty house is now full of kwentos and a family bonding time. And I’m back to being the listener. Hehehe! :D
