My Vintage Ring

I’ve been waiting for these for exactly 1 month and 2 weeks. It arrived yesterday.

Will forever hold in my heart – my vintage gold tone filigree with faux turquoise ring I ordered for the first time at Etsy. I love the style and the unique curve of it. I’ve been keeping in touch with the seller since 1st week of March coz I thought it lost its way here to Qatar. The seller was patient enough to calm me down, hehe! A big thanks to Ms Kristi.vintage1

Just like an imitation of Bella’s cuff in Twilight. Shucks! Twilight fever strikes again!vintage2

Sitter for Julia

Not in a good mood for blogging these days. So busy with work and trying to cope up with Mommy Duties as well.

Mom will be leaving by 25th of April – so need to be independent again. We’re trying to apply for a visa for my sister – but unfortunately, our request was not granted by the Immigration which makes Hubby more upset. Everyday as I look into the calendar, and I think of the fact that Mom will be leaving soon, I feel so hopeless! Not that I can’t do it myself but the fact that I’ll be leaving Julia with a stranger is totally 101% unacceptable to me.

We’re trying our best to find a good nanny, we found one already with a reasonable price. 9 hours a day for $165 / month is not bad at all. But of course, this will lead me working back to 8 hours a day 6 days a week and 1 day off. I don’t like to go back to the old schedule since I’m so used working 12 hours straight and a 3 days off straight as well.

Insha Allah (God willing) we’ll try another way – much better way. I’m thinking of not working for 3 months just to look over Julia, but it’s a big financial loss for us. I’m not just supporting my husband but my family back home as well – referring to Mom and Dad.

Enough of the emote moments. I’ll be back on Tuesday to blog more.

A Long Update

Marhaba! Hello!

Well, the fact that I’m back from hiatus is that I’m currently sick! Sick of this migraine that I have as I note down updates for my blog…

So first things first – currently off from work right now. Its past 2 AM here. Bb Julia’s sleeping already while Hubby went to his friend’s house to play billiards and to get mind off from work. I might as well put my mind into something rather than watching TV. Our TFC hasn’t been connected yet as we speak since I forgot to pay the bill for this months’ fee – hehe!

This morning – actually yesterday morning, we went to the Health Center for Bb Julia’s scheduled booster shots. We arrived late unfortunately. First come first serve basis, we were on the 46th while they were calling baby #24! Hubby decided to leave since he had some errands to finish. Bb Julia’s weight reached 6.91kgs – Masha’Allah! I forgot to ask her height measurement since it doesn’t really matter that much. When it was her turn for the booster, I wanted to go out the room and wanted to let Mommy take her instead, but she fell asleep on my chest while waiting for our turn. So I don’t have any choice but to take her myself. She woke up when I placed her on the bed for the check-up. The funny part was when the doctor was trying to open her mouth – Julia was like stopping the doctor for doing that, haha! She kept on pulling out her tongue, so the doctor smiled at me hopelessly – kulang nalang siguro kurutin nya si Julia sa inis. She cried immediately after the nurse injects the first booster on her right leg (ouch!). She turned red as expected and continued to cry out loud after the 2nd injection on her left leg. She stopped crying right after I carried her for comfort. It’s really so hard to see babies cry for you know that got hurt for the prick of the needles. When we arrived home this afternoon, she was like shouting and playing and was in good mood. Hubby fell in-love with Bb Julia’s holler since this was the first time he heard her play alone. We decided not to give her bath today since we’re expecting a slight fever coz of the booster shot. I changed her clothes and she fell asleep for 5 hours continuous – and we all fell asleep as well since we woke up so early. That’s the reason why I have a sever headache!

What else? Aha! May golay! I can’t decide on what to do whenever I logged into my laptop. I need to log in FB & FS to check updates from my friends and aside from that; I also need to check on "Bookie" (my FB Pet) and to groom her as well. Nakakaloka! So many things need to do online. Well, of course tasks are not on the list AT ALL! It’s been a while since my last opps. Don’t know how to get more tasks! So sad on this part! I tried to sign up with other PPP but I don’t have any updates from them. That 100% means – I’m totally not approved! Better luck next time then.

We received good news from back home; we’re expecting to see my BIL within this month. Insha-Allah! And we’re still waiting for good news for my sister as well.

I just realized now that snail mail is still sluggish! I just received the long awaited package sent by a dear friend of mine whose currently residing in Richmond, Canada. After 2 months! It’s a welcome baby gift for Bb Julia. Will take a picture of it and will post it here again. I’m still waiting for my Etsy order that I’ve purchased a month ago. The seller confirmed delivery last 17th of February, if my friend sent the package last January – this means my order might come next month! This sucks! Thanks God for the emails! WWW rules!

I’m still not finish reading New Moon. I feel bored now because of Edwards’ absence!

Enough for the updates. Need to grab tags and do MM entry. I’m so late for this! Thanks for everyone who cared to drop during my nonexistence. I really appreciate your time!

Kreativ with the “K” & Friendship Award

Passing on awards from one blog to another is one of the things I liked most in the blog world. It doesn’t make any sense actually, I mean literally speaking – but if you think about the thought of the person who passed the award it’s like, truly you’re blessed with such a wonderful blog / online friend. The thought counts.

So, thank you ate Chris for always tagging me with awards and for all my blog friends, ate Chie, Momma Umma, Mareng Aa, Ms Pinch, Shey, Jhelea, ate Maria and recently added ate Anney for always remembering me. I’m passing these awards to you as well. It’s more than 7 noh? hehehe! Exagg!

The rules that go along with this blogger award are as follows:
Name 7 things that you love then pass this onto 7 other kreativ bloggers.
1. Chocolates
2. Small decorative displays
3. Pink colored Pen
4. Photography
5. Digi-Scrapping (though I do it I think once in a year! haha!)
6. Blogging
7. Eating & Sleeping (lazy!)

P.S. Thanks also for ate Anney for this award.

Baby Julia Turned 4

Researchers believe that your baby can now understand all the basic sounds that make up his native language. Between this time and 6 months of age, he’ll develop the ability to make some of these sounds, which means you may hear the words you’ve been dreaming about, namely “mama” and “dada.” While child development experts say it’s too early for your baby to connect those sounds with you, that won’t make hearing them any less exciting.

You can encourage your baby’s attempts at communication by mirroring or imitating his expressions and sounds. He may try to imitate you, too. Say “ba” and he may try to say it back.

Reacting when your baby makes noises or tries to say something will help him learn the importance of language and better understand cause and effect. It’s great for his self-esteem, too: He’ll begin to realize that what he says makes a difference.

Will be posting pictures later. Need to upload and put watermarks first.

Will goo back tomorrow for work, so better not forget to upload photos of Bb Julia’s 4th month.

WARNING: Photo Overload

Just finished uploading photos on my multiply account. Alhamdulillah for this wonderful day and I thank of course Mother dear for the food that she prepared for us. Next month, will be Mommy’s last month to cook for her month-day. For sure, Julia will miss her. Mom’s been a big help for us – and really I can’t imagine myself without her.

Olibokbok tagged me on FB again. Had fun answering these random questions. Copied most of her answers, hehehe! Walang originality.

Now, here’s what you’re supposed to do. And please do not spoil the fun. Start a new note, delete my answers and put in your own. Tag all your friends and tell them to tag you. The theory is that you will learn a lot of little known things about each other.
