This will be my last post for this year.
Alhamdulillah for a blessed 2008. I will make a recap by tomorrow for the highlights for this year.
For the meantime, HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone!
Guess what? I found a new place to blog. No, I’m not leaving blogspot. That will be the 2nd time just in case, hehehe! I just found a new place to write some part of my life – a part where I can write in another way, Taglish, hehehe!
I run through i.ph a couple of months ago when I was thinking where I can create a new blog – that was last September when I left WordPress. I created an account already but didn’t finished with the registration coz I found it very slow to upload. If you’re just into writing and not interested to post any pictures on your entry, try i.ph. So slow lang kasi siya talaga kaya nakakainis. I’m thinking to transfer all tags/memes entries on that blog – I’ll think about it again, coz even publishing entries takes I think minimum 30seconds. Panira eh noh? Bakit pa ako nag blog dun kung puro reklamo lang din? hehehe! The reason is, I love their themes, hehehe! So simple and very neat.
Anyways, leave links and messages for me there ha? See you there

When you can live forever, what do you live for?
Finally Finally and another Finally!
We reserved sits for Twilight last 28th of December at 630pm. Umpisa pa lang, super excited na ako. Hubby was not that excited at all since he doesn’t have any single idea on what the movie was all about. Mohammad and lovers Wael and Soumaya joined us. Good thing Hubby’s boyfriends were around, coz at least I know that just in case he gets bored with the movie, there’s someone beside him that he can talk to, hehehe! Naninigurado =)
My ratings? 10 STARS! Love the script, love the rainy effects of the place. Everything’s just fit into the story and of course, I love and so much adore Bella and Edward. Like what a critic said “The most epic romance since Titanic…” – very well said. So so so love the movie. Nakaka-inlove sa wala and yes, sobrang sarap ulit ulitin. Umpisa pa lang ng movie, na-iinlove na ako.
So love the scene where Edward invites Bella to eat lunch with his family and then Bella asked “What if they don’t like me?” and then Edward replied “You’ll be surrounded with Vampires and you’re thinking if they will like you?” – something to that effect, hehehe! Basta parang ganun yung sinabi nya… I can still upto now Edwards breath este the kilabot moments.
Another part that I love was when the 3 bad vampires (parang bata yung term, hehehe!) start to summon the Cullens when they were playing baseball. Shocks! Super protective ng family ni Edward just to save Bella. Omg to the max! Hay naku nagiging OA na ako ha! But really, in reality super sarap ng feeling diba na your FIL are willing to fight for your safety?
What else I will not forget? Umm… ah the time where Bella got so frustrated when Edward advised her to move to another place with her Mom – the hospital bed scene, then Bella started to be so OA by saying “No… No… No…” – and here I am again, another OMG! “Where else shall I go?” sweet reply by Edward.
Hay naku! Naduduling na ko sa wala. When I got home, was able to chat with OL Sis Shey and she referred me to sites where I can purchased OL the Twilight Saga with hardbound cover. Unfortunately, the sites are not allowed shipped it here in Qatar since if I’m not mistaken – I was just told by this, that Amazon or eBay don’t shipped products unless the PO is American company or whatever lalo na pag Middle East. So, I guess I have to contact a friend of mine who can get the goods for me. Gastos ito, pero what to do? Once in a lifetime experience ito, and just in case – these 4 books will be my 1st book collection and I’m planning to collect the DVD of these once it’s available.
Pang HS ang dating, pero what the heck – I love the story! I look stupid in the photo noh? Pinag titinginan nga ako when I asked Hubby to take a picture of me eh, hehe! Keber! Kanya-kanyang addiction ‘to! Like what Edward said “…my type of heroine”
Celebrating Christmas here in the Middle East is not that the same like living in the United States or Canada or any country where you can see people impersonating Santa Clause. Well, a friend of mine whose currently residing right now in Canada where able to take her first Santa Lap Experience together with her Baby DL. I’m sure she had a great time for it.
I grabbed this photo of her together with her Husband and 11mos old Baby. Thanks Terette!
She said that it was a great experience for her and for Baby DL. The helpers of Santa, famous Elves made DL smiled. They did a great job for this one.
Well, it’s not too late for you online friends living in the United States to have this once a year adventure with Santa coz I saw this site where they can give you your first Santa Lap Experience and even lets you create your online Santa Lap Video with the powerful uniqueness of the CEIVA Digital Photo Frame. Oh how I wish I can order such frames. Just a simple souvenir for the year 2008. On the said link you can wish something and even get the chance of winning coz there will be 1 random entry selected for each day of the contest; cash prize of $500 per winner.
I might as well got a wish come true, I made a screen shot with Santa, hehehe!

Hi everyone! How’s your Christmas celebration? I’ve been checking some of my OL buddies’ blog but seems that they’re still collecting photos of the celebration. No one is updating as of this time. Nabibitin tuloy ako, excited na ako to see what’s up with you mga ate’s ko.
Hubby and I are Muslims so we’re not celebrating the Christmas however me being a Filipino, it’s a tradition already for my family to celebrate and simply get together eating dinner back home. My parents are Christians anyway. Mom’s here with us so we need to make her feel like it’s Christmas here in Qatar as well – para di ma homesick ata baka umiyak na naman si Mudra. For me, it’s not about the religion, it’s about how you get together once a year showing your love thru giving gifts. Besides, it’s the season to be with your family and enjoy the spirit of the holidays.
We were invited over to join our Christmas Party for our company together with our dear friends. The party of course started late since most of the staffs are working late upto 10pm. Our Customer Service work late as well up to 12mn so the game didn’t start with out them – naks! Though we ate already since most of us are starving already.
Thanks to the bright ideas of kuya Angelo and Lyn, the party was as a success. Not that exciting like last year though. Last year, all flat (room) prepared a dance presentation and I guess last year we were more/many compare to this year’s party. A lot of our colleagues left already. Kuya Giovanni decided to continue his uncles’ business back home, kuya Ruel rended his resignation and same to ate Verna who continued her career in Oman. The big boss have bigger plans for next year, so we’re hoping to have more staffs as well and I’m keeping my fingers cross that we’ll have a successful launch to the new workshops that we’ll open in the future.
Anyways, we ate dinner of course. They prepared the all time famous Pansit, Mechado, Cheese sticks {shucks! konti lang nakain ko nito}, Filipino Rice, Beef Steak and Fried Chicken.
Then we played games starting from HepHep Hooray, Banana Eating contest and lastly BINGO! And for the jackpot round of Bingo, the 1st Prize is a 21” TV – oh diba, bonggang bonga!
Here are tons of pictures to share.
WARNING: Photo Overload!

The other was with his staff Rick dancing on the tune of “Papa-Boogie”; Hubby don’t dance during parties actually, but I just told him to for fun. He’s such a good sports, hehehe!
